    Police operatives attached to FCT Command have arrested members of a notorious robbery syndicate that specialize in trailing their unsuspecting victims from banks and robbing them of the cash they have withdrawn.
    A statement signed by FCT Police Spokesman, ASP Anjuguri Mamza said the suspects who came from Kaduna state, were arrested after they trailed and broke into the parked car of their victim, with the aid of fabricated master key, and attempted to do away with the cash he had withdrawn from the bank.
    “Preliminary investigation reveals that two members of the syndicate, Augustine John and Ronald Nna are renowned for their involvement in one chance robbery” he said.
    Exhibits recovered from the gang include a Grey Colour Toyota Sienna RSH 913 MW, four fabricated Master Keys, one bunch of house keys, Indian Hemp mixed with liquid substance.
    Also, Police operatives attached to Wuye Division at City gate Airport arrested one Godwin Edith Samson after he snatched the handbag of his female victim and attempted to escape.
    He was however arrested by the Police patrol team after the victim raised an alarm. Recovered from him were one ITEL phone, hundred Kenyan Shillings and N6, 000.
    Furthermore, FCT Police personnel acting on intelligence on the escapade of a notorious house breaker who specializes in breaking into his victim’s homes and shops around Lugbe axis and carting away valuables have arrested one Raphael Martins.
    Police operatives attached to Lugbe Division launched a massive man-hunt for the suspect (Martins) which paid off and led to his arrest.
    He was arrested after he broke into the house of one of his victims, at Corner shop Federal Housing Lugbe, and attempted carting away some electronics in the house.
    The suspect while confessing to the crime said his operation is mostly at night.
    Recovered from him was House breaking implements, TWO 55 INCHES PLASMA TV, 2 Standing fans, One Air Conditioner, Home Theatre, One refrigerator, 3 DVD Players, 6 electric Irons, 3 mini digital cameras, one mini video camera and other appliances.
    The suspects will all be charged to court on completion of investigation.
