NAVY REDEPLOYS SENIOR OFFICERS; APPOINTS NEW FOCs, PSOs.
The Nigerian Navy High Command yesterday carried out the redeployment of 38 senior officers including 34 Rear Admirals.
Consequent upon the redeployment approved by the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ibas, new Flag Officers Commanding and new Principal staff Officers Were appointed.
The new Flag Officers Commanding (FOCs), are Rear Admiral FD Bobai, FOC Western Naval Command; Rear Admiral JO Oluwola, FOC Eastern Naval Command; Rear Admiral Joe Okojie, FOC Naval Training Command; Rear Admiral T. Dick, FOC Central Naval Command; Rear Admiral SAG Abbah, FOC Logistics Command.
Among the new Principal Staff Officers are Rear Admiral Jacob Ajani, Chief of Policy and Plans, Naval Headquarters, Rear Admiral AA Osinowo Chief of Training and Operations, Rear Admiral Obiora Medani, Chief of Administration, Rear Admiral Henry Babalola, Chief of Naval Transformation.
A statement signed by the Director of Naval Information, Commodore Christian Ezekobe noted that Rear Admiral Ofik is Chief of Naval Safety and Standard and Rear Admiral AO Odeh is Chief of Naval Engineering.
Rear Admiral IO Mohammed is the new Director, Project Implementation Directorate while Surgeon Rear Admiral Enechukwu, is the new Director of Naval Medical Services.
