POLICE TV SERIES ‘BEYOND YOUR SIGHT’ PREMIRES JUNE 7
A new Police TV series titled `Beyond Your Sight’ featuring top Nigerian Nollywood stars like Segun Arinze, Desmond Elliot among others, will premiere on June 7 at the International Conference Center, Abuja.
The Nigeria Police Force Television Series, the first of its kind whose concept is woven around bridging the gap between the police and the public, will disseminate operational, intelligence, investigative and prosecutorial exploits of the Nigerian force.

Addressing the media on the premiere, Force Public Relations Officer, Acting ACP Olabisi Kolawole, said “Though Force under the leadership of IGP Arase has had its fair share of challenges, it has laid pathways for engendering the evolution of a new police force that will not only take pride in itself, but one that will sing its own song, change its narratives and give social meaning to policing”.
Emphasizing that the 13 episode series was also aimed at educating police officers on how to relate with the public, ACP Kolawole said, “It is the expectation of the force leadership that in the long term, the series will aid the rebranding process of the force’’, she said.
The police spokesperson added that the series, produced by an award winning Lacelot Imasuen Odua, was inspired by the Inspector-General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team, who has so far smashed several kidnapping and armed robbery cases around the country in recent months.
She expressed the hope that corporate bodies and well-meaning individuals will support the sustenance of ‘what promises to be an exceedingly captivating drama series by offering sponsorship deals”.
