A new state of the art intelligence control room equipped with multi-purpose devices with advanced technology for today and tomorrow’s cyber and other electronic surveillance operations tailored to tackle emerging threats to the nation, has been commissioned by the Defence Intelligence Agency.

Recall that the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Air Vice Marshal Muhammed Sani Usman disclosed at the opening ceremony of the 2019 Annual Defence Advisers Conference in Abuja, that ‘Significant’ improvements to the agency’s competences and capability to deliver has been put in place.

“Most evident are the infrastructural developments aimed at creating the right environment to incubate forward thinking ideas and problem solving, while also providing the optical credibility befitting to ‘our’ agency” he said.

The new advanced equipment is one of the fall outs of the Memorandum of Understanding initiated by the Chief of Defence Intelligence, with foreign partners.
