The Commander Sector 5 Exercise ‘Atilogwu Udo l’ Brigadier General Sylvester Oloyede on Wednesday 20 November 19 received the AHQ Monitoring Team for Ex-Atilogwu Udo I led Commander Armoured Corps, Major General JO Akomolafe at Super Camp 5 Egede Junction,Egede off Enugu – Nsukka road, Udi LG of Enugu State.
The Team was briefed at the Information Centre and Operations Centre on the operational activities of the Sector from the commencement of the Exercise to date including various achievements.
Thereafter, the Team leader with other members of the Monitoring Team comprising of Comdt NAAS Maj Gen MH Magaji and Comdt NASS Maj Gen AO Uthman went on familiarization tour of the Super Camp 5 facilities in line with the Ex setting.
In their remarks, the team members expressed satisfaction for the achievements recorded to date by the various Sectors within the AOR of Exercise Atologwu Udo , since the commencement of the Exercise.
The team leader further urged the commanders to sustained the tempo of the operations throughout the Exercise period and also commended the inter agency cooperation and support displayed by various security agencies which is part of the objective of the Exercise.

Also, the Nigerian Army Headquarters Monitoring Team in furtherance of the implementation of the ongoing Exercise Atilogwu Udo l in South East Geo-political zone of Abia Anambra, Ebonyi,Enugu and Imo States visited Exercise Atilogwu Udo l Step up Headquarters/Super Camp in Owerri, Imo State.
Exercise Atilogwu Udo l is a Nigerian Army operation against armed bandits, proscribed secessionist groups ,armed militia, kidnappers and cattle rustlers among other criminal elements in the South East states to enable law abiding citizen and good people of South East enjoy the ember months and experience memorable yuletide season celebrations, as part of the objective of this Exercise.
To this end the Army Headquarters monitoring Team led by the Commander Armoured Corps, Major General JO Akomolafe, with other members of the team; comprising of Commandant Nigerian Army Armoured School Major General. MH Magaji and Commandant Nigerian Army Signal School Major General AO Uthman from Monday 18th to 20th Wednesday November 19, visited the Exercise Area of 82 Division Exercise ATILOGWU UDO l Step up Headquarters and Super Camp at Mburuchi Obinze Owerri Imo State.
The team was received and briefed at the information Center/Operations room by the Information and Operations officers. Thereafter the team members were conducted round the Step Up HEADQUARTERS and Super Camp facilities by the General officer Commandig 82 Divsion Brigadier General Lasisi Adegboye
