The Commandant, Army War College Nigeria(AWCN), Major General Bamidele Alli Alabi has led participants of the College on a 2-Day tour of military strategic establishments in Abuja, as part of the National Security and Organisation of Defence Module for Course 6/2022.
The tour commenced with a visit to the Defence Headquarters Joint Operations Centre, thereafter visited the Nigerian Army Operations Centre, the Naval Headquarters as well as Headquarters Nigerian Air Force.
Others included; Defence Space Administration, Nigerian Army Farms and Ranches Limited, Land Forces Simulation Centre Nigeria as well as the Defence Research and Development Bureau where the team was briefed.
The tour essentially provided the participants an insight into the workings of the military strategic establishements.
The tour had 73 participants of the ranks of Lieutenant Colonel and Colonel and thier equivalent from the Armed Forces of Nigeria, with others from Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), as well as allied participants from the Republics of Congo Brazaville, the Gambia, Liberia and Rwanda.
