In his unique way of appreciating the selfless sacrifices of the officers and men of the Nigerian Army in ensuring peace and security of lives and property, a broadcaster, writer and spoken word artiste, Sunny Onaji has produced a short video highlighting the mindset, condition and struggles of the personnel of the NA in the war front.
In the three minutes, thirty seconds video, he narrated how they spend time away from their families in ensuring other families are safe, the safety of our fellow citizens and the safety of the nation.
In the video clip Onaji interviewed two soldiers in the frontline even though their names were not mentioned, who explained the pride they take in serving the nation and risks they take in ensuring the territorial integrity of Nigeria is protected.

Onaji also brought to the fore, the inevitable fact that in the course of their duties, some pay the supreme price.
He however, assured that those who lose their lives have not lost it in vain, as they would always be remembered by their families, communities and the nation.
He concluded by urging all Nigerians to support the Nigerian Army through prayers.
Recall just few weeks ago Pastor Suleiman and many private individuals and institutions have bared their minds on the need for well meaning Nigerians to support Army personnel and their families.
This is in appreciation of their sacrifices and selflessness in discharging their noble responsibilities to the nation.
The need to expand/sustain this form of solidarity is important in Nigeria’s war against terrorism, insurgency and other other insecurities across the country.
