Ex-Enduring Peace: Armoured Corps Commander Task Troops on Synergy with Other Security Agencies to End Insecurity; As GOC urges Para-military organizations to remain committed

Officers and Soldiers of the  Nigerian Army have been charged to work in synergy with other security organisations to surmount the current  security challenges in the country.
The charge was given on Thursday 8 September 2022, during inspection of a Joint military exercise codenamed Exercise Enduring Peace,  a Command Post Execise 2022, hosted by 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi.
Speaking during the night Walk Round phase of the exercise, the Special Guest of Honour, Commander Armoured Corps, Major General Suleiman Idris commended the participants for imbibing team spirit and sharing professional experiences necessary for a sucessful operation.
He said current security challenges requires continuous training and synergy amongst various security agencies working to achieve a common goal.
He  urged the troops to take advantage of the exercise to improve their professional conduct in the field.
In his remarks, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army (NA) and Commander Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), Major General Ibrahim Ali said the improved synergy among security agencies have led to sucesses in current operations across 3 Division Area of Responsibility..
He noted that the joint training is necessary towards achieving the cardinal pillar of the Chief of Army Staff vision which is “To have a Professional Nigerian Army Ready to Accomplish Assigned Missions within a Joint Environment in Defence of Nigeria”.
He said the dynamics of the current security challenges requires the various security agencies to train together and  understand the roles of each in securing lives and properties of the citizens.
The GOC charged officers of the Division to live above the challenges posed by insecurity by synergizing with other security agencies deployed in their area.
He also  urged the paramilitary organisations to remain committed and dedicated to their duty.
Earlier in his welcome remarks,  the Commander 33 Artillery Brigade Bauchi, Brigadier General John Adeyemo  said the exercise was part of the Chief of Army Staff training directives aimed at upscaling training of troops towards ending the security challenges in the country.
He said the training exercise has increased understanding of the  roles of various security agencies during operations.
Dignitaries present at the event were the Commandant Nigerian Army Armour School, Major General John Ochai, the representative of the Air Officer Commanding Special Operations Bauchi, representative of the Commissioner of Police Bauchi state and heads of other security organisations.
