GOC 81 Division Thumbs Up Made in NAFRC Products; Commend NAFRC leadership for laudable initiatives

The General Officer Commanding 81 Division Nigerian Army Lagos, Major General JO Irefin has Commended products made in Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC).

He gave this commendation at the Inter-workshop Exhibition/Competition 2019 at General AG Olonisakin Exhibition Arena NAFRC Barracks Oshodi, Lagos.

He congratulated the participating workshops most especially Agricultural Wing for exceling during the Inter-workshop Exhibition/Competition.

General Irefin commended the Leadership of NAFRC for its relentless efforts in generating ideas for the transformation of the institution into one of global reckoning.

He further urged the Commandant to continue his laudable initiatives for high quality human resource development that will be gainful to the Officers, Servicemen and Women as well as the society at Large.

The Commandant NAFRC, Air Vice Marshal Abubakar Sadique Liman disclosed that the Centre was established as a resettlement and vocational training institution, with the objective to ensure a smooth transition of service men and women from military to civil life.

He said this is by by providing them with requisite skills and trades that would empower them to set up their own cottage industries and enjoy productive life in retirement as well as make meaningful contribution to national development.

AVM Liman added that the essence of the exhibition is to showcase the products of the trainees to the invited guests, institutions and the general public for their awareness and patronage.

Amongst the workshops that participated for the Exhibition were: Agricultural wing, Ceramics, Creative Arts, Fabrication, Fine Arts, Fashion Facility/Designing, Laundry, foundry, Weavimg, building and construction and others.
