The NAOWA President Mrs Salamatu F Yahaya has commissioned the NAOWA Group of Schools Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Centre on Thursday 4th August 2022.
Mrs Yahaya eulogised the Chairperson NAOWA 82 Division Mrs Maria Abiodun Lagbaja for initiating and completing the two projects within her tenure as Chairperson NAOWA 82 Division Chapter.
The ICT Centre is meant to enhance the ICT skills of NAOWA Group of Schools pupils while the remodelled, Hajiya Salamatu F Yahaya Secretariat, will serve as an admistrative hub for NAOWA activities.
The Secretariat which is fully furnished has the Chairperson Office, Conference room and a Waiting Room.
Highlights of the Commissioning ceremony include inspection of the facilities, donation of welfare package to teachers of NAOWA Group of Schools, presentation of certificate and plaque to the Chairperson NAOWA 82 Division as well as cultural dances by pupils of NAOWA Group of Schools Enugu.
The NAOWA President also presented relief items to the inpatients of 82 Division Medical Services and Hospital.
Other Highlights of the visit to Enugu include Courtesy Call on the General Officer Commanding 82 Division Nigerian Army, Major General TA Lagbaja, Dinner Reception, Group Photographs and presentation of souvenirs.
On the the entourage of the NAOWA President were, Mrs Asma’u KN Garba, Mrs Glory UU Bassey, Mrs Safiya Shaibu, Mrs Linda Ekeator, Mrs Justina Amakor, the NAOWA Assistant National Secretary and Asst Nat PRO.
