Nigerian Navy Logistics College, Graduates 158 Officer’s in Kano

The Nigerian Navy Logistics College, which was recently moved to Dawakin Tofa, Kano State has graduated 158 Officers, trained in various Logistics courses.

 

the NN like other military and para military organisations has continued the training and re-training of its personnel to boast their professional capabilities in line with present realities.

Spesking at the occasion,  the Commandant, Nigerian Navy Logistics College said, five Navy officers carried out the officers Basic Course 32 while others graduated under the Pety Officers qualifying course batch 40, Leading Seaman Qualifying Course batch 40 and Basic Qualifying Course batch 48.

 

“I particularly congratulate the graduating student officers for successful participation in their respectful courses. No doubt the past 24 weeks has been a challenging period but I am sure you have gained and ready for the challenge before you both offlore and offshore”, he said.

The special guest of honour at the combined graduation ceremony, Flag Officer Commanding, Naval Training Command, Rear Admiral Monday Unurhiere urged graduate to stay loyal to the service and committed to their duties for the desired goals of securing the waterways to be achieved.
 
He said, “Keep your doted and your notes hanging, go over them and maintain contact with your instructors. I want to encourage you to provide useful feedbacks as often as you observe there’s a dissonance with what you’ve been taught and what is practised in the field. That is the only way we can ensure that our training is responsive to the needs of users in the field”.
 
The courses will enable the Naval officers gain more confidence, discipline and will boost their career in the future. 
The graduation event took place at the Dawakin Tofa Local government area of Kano. The Logistics College is one of the new establishments of the Nigerian Navy in the state.
