The Comptroller General of Nigeria Immigration Service Muhammad Babandede on Friday paid a one day official visit to Kaduna Command of the NIS.
He also paid a courtesy call to His Excellency, Executive Governor of Kaduna State Mallam Nasiru Ahmed El-Rufai at the Sir Kashim House, Government of Kaduna Seat of Power.
The CGI Babandede appreciated the governor for supporting the Service in the state and providing enabling environment for the NIS service windows to attract businesses to Kaduna and maintaining the peace,
The Governor congratulated the CGI for monumental developments and strides taken to transform the NIS.

He noted the impact of the new enhanced 10 year validity passport, Migrant e-registration exercise embarked upon around the country and infrastructural developments within the CGI three years of assumption of duty as the NIS just witnessed its 56th years of establishment.
Recall that this was crown with the Management Retreat in Lagos where NIS road map 2019-2023 was drawn and the document will be made public soon.
