Police arrest wanted Cultist Leader & vicious killer in Lagos

Operatives of Lagos State Police Command gave arrested a notorious and vicious killer and factional leader of the ‘Aiye’ Confraternity, identified as Adegboro Odunwole, who has been on the wanted list of the Lagos State Police Command, has been apprehended.

The suspect, who is also known in the Crime world as ‘GOBE’, was said to have been apprehended in an intelligent led operation, at about 2 pm on October 1, 2019, by Operatives of the Lagos police command Operation Crush attached to the Bariga Police Division.

GOBE, who was arrested at Akilo Street, Bariga, Lagos, is said to be responsible for series of violent attacks and killings in Bariga area.

In a related development, a team of Policemen from Ipaja Division, led by the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Tokumbo Abaniwonda, have arrested an alleged traffic robber, identified as a 30-year-old Emmanuel Daniel.

One locally made pistol with live ammunition and one expended ammunition were said to have been recovered from him.

He was allegedly arrested while attempting to snatch a bag from a woman at Boys Town Ipaja, a crime Police said the suspect has confessed to the crime.

Similarly an alleged phone snatcher was on October 27, 2019 arrested at about 7.30 pm by Patrol team from the Bariga Division.

Operatives while on routine patrol around Ifelodun Street Bariga nabbed the 21-year-old suspect named Adewole Oluwatomi.

The suspect allegedly used a knife to snatch an Itel phone from a 15-year-old boy called Adeyemi Kayode inside Ebute market.

Police said they have recovered the stolen phone and the knife used, noting that the suspect had confessed to have committed the crime and would be charged to court.
