The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao when visited Kaduna earlier on Wednesday to commiserate with families, friends, and colleagues of the 2 pilots, has assured the officers, airmen and airwomen of 401 Flying Training School that all measures will be emplaced to avert similar occurrence in the future.
Director of NAF Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet made this known in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja.
He also identified the two pilots who lost their lives in the tragic accident involving a NAF Super Mushshak trainer aircraft that crashed that on Tuesday, 19 April 2022 at NAF Base, Kaduna.
They are; Flight Lieutenant Abubakar Muhammed Alkali and Flight Lieutenant Elijah Haruna Karatu.
Director of NAF Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet said the CAS had also constituted an Accident Investigation Board upon receiving the sad news of the crash on Tuesday, to determine the immediate and remote causes of the crash.
