Army arrest soldier involved in wedding day killing
The 4 Brigade Nigeria Army Benin, Edo State, has said that its officers have arrested the soldier who allegedly killed one Mrs. Alice Akporobi around Jakpa Junction, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State on Saturday.

Mrs. Akporobi, a typist with the Delta State Judiciary attached to the Magistrate’s Court, Oleh, was on her way to her daughter’s wedding during weekend’s environmental sanitation exercise when the soldier killed her at a military checkpoint in Jakpa Junction, Effurun.
A statement signed by its Public Relations Officer of the Brigade, Captain Jonah Unuakhalu, expressed regrets over the incident, saying the soldiers concerned had been arrested and investigation ongoing.
