16th International Defence Industry Fair, Turkey: CDS, Major Gen Musa leads Nigeria’s Delegation.

Nigeria’s Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa is leading a delegation of the Armed Forces of Nigeria to the 16th International Defense Industry Fair being hosted by the Turkish Defence Ministry in Istanbul.
The fair which is one of the world’s leading defence industry events, will this year showcase Turkey’s latest defence technology.
Turkey plans to display dozens of newly developed products, vehicles and weapon systems for use on land and sea or in the air and even in space will be unveiled for the very first time.
Nearly 1500 foreign and domestic companies will be taking part in this event.
The last such fair attracted more than 68,000 participants from 94 countries. This year, more are expected to attend.
The meetings between international delegations, companies and government representatives will be held in nearly 30 venues provided by Turkish ministries.
A breakdown shows that 1,461 companies from 55 countries are attending. The event is in its 16th year, prominent promotion, marketing, and cooperation

President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan addressed the participants via video message at the opening of IDEF’23 16th International Defense Industry Fair.
Some new equipment at the fair, include the T925 Multi-Role Utility Helicopter which is on display at IDEF’23 on Turkish Aerospace booth.
IDEF’23, 16th International Defence Industry Fair organized between July 25-28, 2023, is hosted by Turkish Ministry of National Defence, supported by the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye Defence Industry Agency, under the management and responsibility of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation and organized by TÜYAP Fairs and Exhibitons Organization Inc. at TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center in İstanbul.
