2018 Ministry of Interior Games (MICA) holds in Kaduna

The Ministry of Interior Games (MIGA) 2018 has began in Kaduna State with a complimentary Polo Tournament organized by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) polo Team to welcome and honor the Minister of Interior Lt Gen (Rtd) Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau (Baraden Kano).

Accompanying the minister were the Comptroller General of Immigration Muhammad Babandede, Controller General Nigeria Prisons Service Ahmed Jaafar, Comptroller General Federal Fire Service Engr Joseph Garba Anebi, Commandant General Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps Abdullahi Gana ably represented were at the Kaduna Polo Club tournament pitch.

They (dignitaries) keenly watched the professional touches on ponies(horses) that were used to play the game.

Two teams played all of them, Immigration team A and team B, played all the game and the game ended 3-2,in an all winners game.

It was titled MIGA 2018 Polo Peace Tournament in the ancient city of Kaduna(Centre of Excellence).

The Honourable Minister encouraged all the other three services of Nigerian Prisons Service, Federal Fire Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense to follow suit to form a team come Next MIGA 2020.

The Minister enjoined the other services to follow the foot step of the Nigeria Immigration Service that had the full support of the CGI Muhammad Babandede, a man of many sides administrator extra ordinaire, lover of sport per excellence, who also promised doing more for the winning team Immigration before leaving for the official Opening Ceremony of MIGA 2018.
