A new Brigade Commander has taken over command at the 33 Brigade, Shadawanka Military Cantonment Bauchi.
He is Brigadier General Timothy Olowomeye. He took over from his predecessor, Brigadier General Abraham Dusu who has been redeployed to the Nigerian Army School of Artillery Kachia, Kaduna State.
Brigadier General Olowomeye is a very seasoned Senior Military Officer who has held various Command and Staff appointments.

A statement by Major Joseph Adekunle Afolasade, Assistant Director Army Public Relations said, “Olowomeye was Deputy Director, Army Transformation and Innovation Centre, Abuja”.
He is a fellow of the National Defence College, Abuja. Until his appointment, he was the Deputy Commandant Nigerian Army School of Artillery, Kachia, Kaduna State.
He assumed Command of the Bridge following a routine handing and taking over ceremony held at Bridge Headquarters in Shadawanka Military Cantonment, Bauchi earlier today (Monday) 29 May, 2017.
