365 NDA Cadets Pass out after Mandatory Military Training.

A total of 365 officer cadets who have completed the mandatory military and academic training on Saturday passed out of the Nigerian Defence Academy.
Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo represented the Commander in Chief, President Muhammadu Buhari at the colourful parade and match past.
Present at the POP were the governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, Minister of Defence, Mansur Muhammad Dan Ali, Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nuratu Batagarawa, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibok Ete-Ibas, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar, and Chief of Defence Intelligence, Air Vice Marshal Sani Usman.
Also among senior military officers present were Commandant of Depot, Nigerian Army, Major General Victor Ezugwu, Commandant of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, Air Vice Marshal Lawal Alao, Chief of Civil Military Affairs at Army Headquarters, Major General Nuhu Angbazo, Naval Secretary, Rear Admiral Ogu as well as the Deputy Commandant of NDA, Air Vice Marshal Idi Amin.
Before the parade, Commandant NDA, Major General Adeniyi Oyebade had disclosed that passing out parade of 65 regular course at the permanent site at Afaka, comprise of cadets including 2 allied cadets from Republics of Benin and Togo.
A breakdown shows that out of 365 officers, 131 are cadets of 65 Regular Course to be commissioned into the Nigerian Army, while members of 66RC of Navy and Airforce will proceed to their respective Services for further training before commissioning.
He recalled that I 2017, “President Muhammadu Buhari was suitably represented at the POP ceremonies for 64RC (Army), 65RC (Navy/Air Force) and SSC 44 (Army) by the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.”
