The six secondary students of Igbonla Model College, Epe in Lagos who were kidnapped about 65 days ago have been freed.
The students reportedly got their freedom on Friday at about noon in the waterside of Ondo State.
Recall that gunmen in military camouflage allegedly stormed the school and abducted the six students from their hostel in a Gestapo styled operation.

As at the time of their release, there was no disclosure if any ransom was paid for their release but Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has a last week gave assurance that the students would be released safely to their parents during a visit to Lagos.
He had stated that he was putting pressure on the Police High Command and the Military High Command as well in Abuja to ensure the rescue of the students without any casualty on their parts.
Police detectives had also confirmed that they were aware of the location of the den where the students were being held hostage but for the safety of the students, they decided to tarry in storming the den.
Lagos State Commissioner of Police has Fatai Owoseni confirmed the release of the students.
