Following the receipt of information of planned attacks by some unscrupulous elements on the Vigilante members in Anambra the state by unscrupulous elements, the Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng has urged resident/indigenes to come forward with information to unmask the identities of the bad elements/persons.

Also, the CP had ordered immediate deployment of State Intelligence Bureau SIB personnel of the command to gather intelligence to complement the existing operational personnel/assets already deployed within many areas of the state.
A statement by DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, the Police Public Relations Officer, Anambra State Command, said the has however sued for calm and assured that the Police and other security agents are more committed in providing security services to everyone and all stakeholders in the state.
