Army Chief, Buratai Flags-Off Upgraded Nigerian Army e-NAPS Systems; It will Guarantee Easy Migration to IPPIS – Jakko.

Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai on Tuesday launched the upgraded version of the Nigerian Army Biometric Data Base systems.

The inauguration of the upgraded version took place on the sidelines of the Chief of Army Staff 1st Quarter Conference 2018 at the Command Officers Mess, Asokoro.

Giving an overview of the enhanced system, Chief of Accounts and Budget, Army, Major General Jehadi Ezra Jakko said, “One of the core aspect of Nigerian Army payroll administration is accurate periodic update of the database so as to safeguard its integrity.

“Thus, there is need to re-validate obsolete Nigerian Army Personnel details and input additional information into the database for effective and efficient payroll administration, planning, budgeting and personnel management.

“The update exercise would further guarantee the integrity, security and reliability of the e-NAPS database for easy migration to IPPIS.
