Army Special Forces Commander Charges Navy Provost Officers on Policing Best Practices.

The Commander 707 Special Forces Brigade, Brigadier General CA Apere has charged grandaunts of Regulating Petty Officers Qualifying Course of Nigerian Navy Provost and Regulating School to keep pace with best practices in police duties.

He said this during the graduation ceremony of the course held at the school premises in Makurdi. General Apeere charged the grandaunts to strive personally to improve themselves in their different units and keep pace with best practices in police duties.

General Apere said a regulator is supposed to be an epitome of knowledge and the man who enforces the law is expected to know the law.

The totality of this knowledge according to him, “could not have been obtained on the course you just concluded. Therefore, you need to strive personally to improve yourself in your different units and keep pace with best practices in police duties”.

He further charged them to be courageous, discipline and always endeavor to put professional touches into their duties.

He said this is necessary as this is a season of change and the Nigerian Navy is looking up to them to help bring about the change necessary in the system.

The Commander 707 Special Forces Brigade congratulated the graduating ratings for the efforts put in for the 4 months the course lasted.

He also expressed his delight in the fact that all the students who started the course passed out successfully.

He further congratulated the Commandant, Commodore SA Bello and the entire staff for their efforts in developing the human resources for the Nigerian Navy.
