Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday flew to London for a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari, the presidency has said.
The unexpected trip was confirmed in a tweet by Laolu Akande, his spokesman on Tuesday.
Akande said, “AgP Osinbajo meeting with President Buhari in London today, and returning to Abuja immediately afterwards.”
Though no further details were given about the trip, it came a day after Wife of the president Aisha Buhari said ‘Hyenas and Jackals will soon be sent out of the kingdom.’
Aisha who was believed to be hinting at a shakeup also did not give details in her parables.
She actually wrote her comments on facebook in response to a post by Senator Shehu Sani.

Observers have expressed opinion that Aisha’s comments and Osinbajo’s trips are causing some anxiety within the political circles as some major decisions are expected to be announced afterwards.
In the meantime, Nigerians are all eyes and ears, waiting for the acting president’s next move upon his return from London.
Whatever he does will certainly be deemed to be on Buhari’s instruction.
“Even if Osinbajo doesn’t say anything immediately, his body language from now on will indicate what is happening,” a presidency watcher said on Tuesday.
After the meeting Osinbajo’s media aide, Akande tweeted Tuesday night that: “We will soon share more information about AgP Osinbajo’s London meeting with President Buhari.
“It was a very good meeting. God bless Nigeria.”
