At Conservative Conference in Miami, Omokri says Nigeria fares better under Osinbajo than when Buhari is in charge.

At the Conservative International summit now ongoing in Miami Florida, former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri says under Acting President Osinbajo, Nigeria is currently experiencing much needed relief than they did under his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari.

Omokri spoke as an invited Conservative strategist.

The conference had speakers including Keynote Speaker, José María Aznar, Former Prime of Minister of Spain, Nigerian Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce who spoke on ‘How to Appeal to the World’s Forgotten 70%’ and Kent Lassman, President and CEO of the Competitive Enterprise Institute amongst others.

Omokri hailed the administration of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan as the best ever Nigerian government in terms of achievements and pro-democratic stance.

He thereafter noted that “the value of the Naira picks up when Buhari is out of the country and drops when he returns to Nigeria.

He also said that the “Nigerian Stock Exchange contracts when President Buhari surfaces and expands when he goes on his many foreign trips especially to his London doctors.”

According to Omokri, these are historical facts that show that the acting President is a better manager of men and resources than his boss.

He called for the world’s conservatives “to rally around Nigerian acting President Osinbajo who was recently undermined by being named ‘coordinator’ rather than acting President in his boss’s letter to Nigeria’s Parliament.”

The Conference was declared open by Florida Governor, Scott Rock, who took some time to have a personal chat with Mr. Omokri, known Conservative who supported and campaigned for President Donald Trump whom the Florida Governor also endorsed early in the 2016 campaign.
