President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday transmit a letter to the National Assembly notifying the lawmakers of his return, the Presidency said Saturday.
Presidential Spokesman, Femi Adesina announced Buhari’s next move on his twitter handle at the weekend.
According to Adesina, “PMB will Monday transmit letter to N’ Assembly on his return to the country. That makes his return to work formal, and constitutional.”
This move confirms the thinking that President Buhari may have been hurried back by his kitchen cabinet in the Presidency to avert any situation that could make NASS move against the president.

Buhari returned to Nigeria Friday. He admitted upon arriving at the Presidential Villa that though he was feeling much better, he may still need to go for further checks soon.
So far, no official details have been released about the nature of Buhari’s illness. He reportedly said he has never been this sick.
All eyes will be on the content of the President’s letter since he has also announced that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who served as acting president in his absence should continue with his good work while he (Buhari) takes some further rest.
It could be recalled that in his telephone call to Adesina weeks ago, Buhari said he was still resting.
