The Police in Katsina State have arrested a 55 year old mechanic, Bature Suleiman for indecently assaulting three teenage girls by fondling with the private parts after luring them with N500.
Suleiman’s arrest came just as 29 year old Sani Aliyu was nabbed for what police described as unnatural offences against three teenage boys luring them into his business premises and having carnal knowledge with them.
Also, the police arrested one Quamariya Ismail over the discovery of the dead body of a new born baby in a garbage dump.
Giving details of the criminal acts in a statement, The Katsina Police Command said, “On 22nd of July 2017 Katsina state Police Command succeeded in the arrest of a 55yrs old motor mechanic one Bature Suleiman of Malumfashi LGA Katsina state who lured three students of a primary school of Malumfashi into his workshop with N500 and indecently assaulted them by putting his fingers into their private parts.
“Victims were noticed by their school teacher spending lavishly during the break period and confessed to have been given the said N500 by the said motor mechanic.
“The children stated that, the suspect took them into his garage where he played with their private parts.
“Suspect has been arrested and confessed to the commission of the crime. He has been charged
to court today for prosecution.

“On 29th July 2017 at about 5.50pm, Policemen on patrol at Kadarko Estate, Sabon Gari Katsina arrested one Sani Aliyu aged 29yrs of Kadarko Housing Estate who was alleged to have lured three young boys inside his business premises and was at different time having carnal knowledge of them against the order of nature.
“The patrol team rescued the said suspect as he was about to be lynched by an angry mob who gathered at the premises.
“Suspect has been transferred to CID for further investigation while the children have been taken to hospital for doctor’s examination/treatment.
Regarding the dead body of a new born baby discovered inside garbage can, the police said, “On 31st July 2017 at about 16:00hrs a dead female new born baby was found inside a dust bin at Madugu House along Yahaya Madaki way, Katsina state.
“Investigation was later carried out and the abandoned dead baby was however, traced to one Qamariya Ismail aged 25yrs old of Sabuwar Kasuwa quarters, Katsina whom her neighbours knew that, she was having illicit pregnancy.
“The suspect when arrested she confessed that her
Mother one Hassana Sabiu ‘f’ aged 45yrs of the same address, helped her and threw the baby inside the said Garbage-Can.
