Ahead of the children’s day celebration slated for Saturday May 27, 2017, the FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Musa Kimo has directed all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers in the Command to beef up security at all recreational centers, parks and spots where children will converge to felicitate the historic event.

To ensure the children have a fun filled day as they join their peers across the country and other parts of the world to mark the day, the command has identified strategic spots that will be a behive of activities for the provision of adequate security.
A statement by ASP Omorodion Usen, PRO FCT Command said, “In view of this, both uniformed and plain clothes police operatives will be deployed to the identified spots for the seamless celebration of the event.”
