The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo has received the Polo and Volleyball trophies won by the representatives of the Nigerian Navy at the just concluded Lagos Polo Tournament on 27th February 2022, and Kontagora Invitational Volleyball Challenge respectively.
President Nigerian Navy Polo, Commodore OBF Oladipo while presenting the Silver Cup to the CNS disclosed that the Nigerian Navy Polo Team did well by winning the second place

Admiral Gambo also received the presentation of the Winners Trophy of the Kontagora Invitational Volleyball Challenge.
The CNS Spikers of the Nigerian Navy Male volleyball Team won the cup amongst 21 other competitors from other services, security agencies and other volleyball teams in the North Central and North West.
The CNS further received the Runner’s Up Cup presented by the Leader of the Women Team, CNS Spikers after placing second amongst 16 competitors at the Kontagora Invitational Volleyball Challenge held in February this year.
In attendance were Principal Staff Officers of the Nigerian Navy, CNS Spikers and all the Nigerian Navy Volley ball Team.
