COAS, Lt. Gen Lagbaja Commissions TRADOC AWO and SGT’s Mess in Minna;  Tasks Soldiers on Proper Utilization of Facilities in Their Domain

The Chief  of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja has  tasked  soldiers on proper uterlization of facilities provided for their welbeing in their domain.
Lt Gen Lagbaja  who was represented by Major General  Benson Akinroluyo (Rtd), made the pronouncement at the  commissioning ceremony of  the remodelled Soldiers’ Club and Warrant Officers and Sergeant Mess in Minna Military Cantonment, Niger State  on Wednesday. 4 September,  2024 .
Maj Gen Akinroluyo was also one of the  Resource Persons  at the Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA) 2024 Doctrine and Leadership Development Workshop for Tactical Commanders.
The two facilities  had undergone  remodeling  which now boast state-of-the-art amenities designed to enhance regimentation, a crucial component of on-the-job training across various units and formations of the Nigerian Army (NA).
Maj Gen Akinroluyo  Emphasizing the importance of these facilities, Maj Gen Akinroluyo urged soldiers to take ownership and make judicious use of the conducive atmosphere provided for relaxation and camaraderie.
Earlier in his remarks, the Commander  Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army (TRADOC NA), Major General Kevin Aligbe, expressed his immense appreciation to Lt Gen Lagbaja for graciously approving the  necessary funds  for the remodeling of the facilities.
He highlighted that the upgraded amenities would significantly boost regimentation among the personnel of the Nigerian Army, fostering a stronger sense of discipline and unity.
Delivering the Vote of Thanks on behalf of the soldiers of TRADOC NA, the President of the Mess Committee (PMC) for Warrant Officers’ and Sergeants Mess, Master Warrant Officer Sanda Kasimu, expressed deep gratitude to the Commander of TRADOC NA for his purposeful leadership and foresight.
He acknowledged the positive impact these facilities would have on the morale and welfare of the soldiers.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by senior officers from Army Headquarters and Departmental Chiefs from Headquarters TRADOC NA, who lauded the initiative and reiterated their commitment in supporting the welfare and professional development of NA  personnel.
