In his effort to boost the spiritual welfare of troops, the Commander 35 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General Isah Mahadi Abdulahi on Tuesday 25 January 2022 commissioned newly expanded church building, conference hall, ablution and a church office project in Alamala Barracks Abeokuta.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, the Commander charged officers and men to leave a legacy behind wherever they are deployed for the sake of posterity. Thereby adding value to the lives of others.
In his remarks, the Acting Director Chaplain Services (Protestant) Colonel Venerable Yakubu Achicks Ishaya lamented how individuals put their personal interest above that of God while admonishing all to consider God first in all their endeavours for a bountiful return.
Present at the occasion was the Chief of Staff 35 Brigade Colonel Iniobong Israel Akpan, the Garrison Commander, Colonel Dawaro Muhammed Baba, officers, soldiers and families as well as friends and well wishers.
