Gallant officers of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Intelligence Response Team, led by their Commander, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari who had busted several kidnapping and banditry cases, criss-crossing the entire country were on Monday decorated with their new ranks.

The Abba Kyari led Special Crop of Police officers recently made the breakthrough in unraveling and arresting some of the dare-devil armed robbers and ring leaders of the Offa Banks robbery in Kwara state during which 9 Police officers were killed.
Numerous crime busting breakthroughs, arrests and arms recoveries as a result of the detective and operations skills of these set of officers including the arrest of most wanted billionaire kidnapping kingpin, ‘Evans’ and restoration of sanity to the Abuja-Kaduna Highway through ‘Operation Absolute Sanity’, have been made possible by (Super-Cop) DCP Kyari and his team.
