The Infantry Corps Commander, Infantry Corps, Nigerian Army (CIC) Major-General Christopher Musa paid a maiden official visit to the General Officer Commanding 1 Division and Force Commander Operation Whirl Punch Maj-General TA Lagbaja at the Headquarters 1 Division on Wednesday 15 March 2023.
He solicited for the support and collaboration of the Division in working with the Infantry Corps headquarters

In his remarks, the Infantry Corps
Commander stated that he was at the Division to familiarize himself and his entourage with the GOC and also solicit continuous support from the Division.
He commended the efforts of the GOC and his team for the successes so far recorded in the fight against banditry, kidnapping, terrorism and other crimes in the Division’s Area of Responsibility and urged them not to relent.
Responding, the GOC, Major Gen Taoreed Lagbaja congratulated the CIC on his well-deserved appointment and commended his selfless service to the Nation while serving as Theatre Commander Operation Hadin Kai.
He then pledge the continuous support of the Division to the Infantry Corps.
Highlights of the visits were signing of visitors book, exchange of souvenirs and group photograph.
