In order to ensure that due process is complied with in procurement, the Chief of Army Staff, Ly General Yusuf Buratai, has directed that each Department at the Army Headquarters and Corps to have a procurement desks to facilitate compliance.

Buratai gave the directive during a courtesy call on the Director General of Bureau for Public Procurement, Mr. Mamman Ahamadu in Abuja.
The Director General commended the Nigerian Army for being ahead of all other Services in the compliance with due process in procurement.
