Kogi State Commissioner of Police, CP Wilson Inalegwu on Tuesday commissioned the newly renovated Divisional Police headquarters in Bassa.
A statement by the CP ‘s office said, “The Police station was renovated by the Sole Administrator, Bassa LGA, Hon. Alumka Samuel Zakari.

Speaking at the occasion, the LG administrator said that since the creation of Bassa LGA in the year 1976, the division has been abandoned, dilapidated and that he took it as a priority to ensure that the police have a conducive office accommodation for effective policing.
Responding, CP Inalegwu commended and thanked the sole administrator for the good work he has done.
He called on the good people of Kogi State particularly Bassa indigenes to collaborate with the police and other security agencies in Kogi State to remain the safest in the country.
He added that information is key for effective for effective policing and urged them to volunteer useful and credible information to the police on the activities of criminal enemies in the state.
