Operatives of the Anti-Cultism and Kidnapping Squad, Cross Rivers Police Command have arrested two notorious cultist leaders in the state with two human skulls among others recovered from the suspects.
Confirming the arrest, Commissioner of Police, Cross Rivers, CP Hafiz Inuwa said “On Wednesday 27th of June 2018, at about 2.05pm, a distress call from an unknown caller about the activities of cultists and fortification rituals was received.

Immediately, men from the Anti-Cultism and Kidnapping squad immediately swung into action and mobilized to the area.
Consequently, one Out Edem Bassey and Ekeng Offiong-Offiong were arrested.
Others escaped and are now at large. Two (2) human skulls, charms, and other items used for incantations were recovered from them.
The CP said the suspects are being interrogated and further investigation is ongoing.
