The Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Adewale Adeniyi has dismissed reports about his age and record of service doing the rounds in the media as false.
The Customs boss said he would not be distracted from rendering quality service to the nation.

He emphasized that he was committed to improving efficiency of the Service.
Adeniyi disclosed that those spreading falsehoods about his service record were being mischievous as he had nothing to hide.
He denied any irregularity in his records, stating : “I have nothing to hide.”
He said those peddling the allegations were aiming to distract him from his duties.
He said his rise to the top of his career was through hard work, dedication, and an unblemished record of service
He asserted that fighting corruption often attracted such challenges.
