Delta Police arrest child armed robber; smash 6-man Kidnapping Gang, recue victim.

The Police in Delta State on Wednesday in Abraka area of the state, arrested a 14 year old armed robbery suspect after he forcefully collected a phone set valued at N150, 000 from the owner with a cut to size locally made gun.

Also, the Police in the State on Wednesday arrested a group of kidnappers who abducted their victim in Oleh before the victim was rescued

 Making the disclosure in a statement, Delta State Police Commissioner, Ibrahim Zanna said, “At about 2.50pm of the above named day, one Lucky Actor, 14 years old, of Ogboru Street, Urhovie Village was arrested by detectives attached to Abraka division.

 This was after he attacked and disposed one Charity Kelechi at her residence at Graceland Hostel of her I-phone valued at #150,000 while armed with a cut to size locally made gun.

 Continuing the CP in a statement titled “Arrest of Suspected Kidnappers/Rescue of Victim/Recovery of Cut to Size arms’ said, “On the 13^th of June 2017, at about 2pm, one Izih Benedict of Oleh town reported at Oleh Police division that by 6am, his cousin, one Izih Simon, 48 years old of Oleh, was kidnapped by unknown gun men.

 “On the strength of the report, personnel attached to Oleh division sprang into action and arrested the following kidnapping gang members.

 “They are Thank-God Pius, 18years, Onume Oghenero, 28 years, Alkasi Abdullahi 24years, Friday Ododo, 20years and Okiro French 21years.

 “The suspects confessed to belonging to a six member kidnapping gang that kidnapped the victim

 “The victim was rescued from his abductors at about 4.30pm due to pressure and arrest of mounted on the gang by Police without ransom paid.

 “Two cut to size barrel pistols were recovered from their den” it said adding that “Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining and fleeing culprit
