Following a foiled attempted escape, the Police in Delta State have shot and killed a notorious armed robber and kidnapping kingpin, one Efe Ovuadu in Enwhe Forest.
A statement confirming the killing of the armed robbery suspect entitled ‘death of Notorious Kidnapping Suspect/recovery of locally made cut to size barrel gun’ noted that the suspect was a gang member of a group that kidnapped a 78 year old elderly man.

It said, “In Thursday th October 2017, at about 6.30am, in continuation of investigation in respect of the kidnap of 78yrs old Office Ibikoro, one Efe Ovuadu, a suspect led police detectives to a forest in Enwhe to recover arms.
“After the recovery of a locally made cut to size barrel gun, while returning, the police vehicle had a flat tyre along the road. While fixing the tyre, the suspect jumped into the bush in order to escape.
After a hot chase, he was shot and re-arrested and rushed to the hospital at Oleh General Hospital for treatment but gave up the ghost, for loss of blood.
