The Delta State Police Command said on Thursday that its operatives on Thursday rescued a kidnapped victim, one Mrs. Ejiro Onohwowakpor who was abducted along Jakpa road at Ubogo forest, Udu on Tuesday 25th July 2017

A statement from the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Muhammad Zanna said, “Following the rescue operation, four suspected kidnapping masterminds, namely Koy Eda of Udu LGA, Adamson Irovevwo of Okoloba road, Effurun, Ejiata Onorpkaye of no. 10 Agbore Str. Ometa, Warri, Ese Sibolu of no. 1 Igbudu, Warri and Felix Boblin, now deceased their kingpin were apprehended.
The Police said its operatives recovered 2-AK47 Rifles, 6 Magazines loaded with 156 live ammunitions, 2 Techno Phones, one Nokia phone and one Airtel phone.
While noting that the victim was rescued unhurt, the Police said, ASP Amos Samuel, team leader of the assault officers has moved the suspects and corps as well as recovered items to Asaba for further investigations and prosecution.
