KIDNAPPING                                  

NATURE OF CASE: CONSPIRACY, ARMED ROBBERY AND KIDNAPPING

SUSPECTS:  Eyemi Eunice 48yrs, of No. 16a Lagos road DSC Estate, Warri; Ejoke Sunday 39yrs of No. 15 Standard School Road, Warri

VICTIM: Sakpara Tessy 39yrs, of Udu Road, O/Aladja

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 01/06/2017, at about 1930hrs, one Tessy Sakpara was kidnapped by five armed men along Udu road, Ovwian-Aladja, and robbed of her Samsung smart phone and other valuables.

Consequently, on 12/07/2017, at about 1000hrs, the two female suspects, Ejemi Eunice and Ejoke Sunday were arrested by SAKCCS Operatives at Warri, wherein the victim’s phone was recovered from them. They have made useful statements. Investigation is in progress.

NATURE OF CASE: CONSPIRACY AND KIDNAPPING

SUSPECTS:  Godwin Ohwoesiri 25yrs, of Okukpere Community; Ejoke Kelly Omoise 27yrs, of No. 23 Sakpomba Road Benin City; Mathew Orobote aka chop and chop 28yrs, of Okukpere; Bright Pius 23yrs, of Okukpere Community; Lucky Godwin 36yrs, of Ekiugbo, Ughelli; Edo Kingsley 19yrs, of No. 28 Upper Sakpomba Road, Benn City; Remember Ikoro 41yrs, of Ekereme Village, Warri; Ese Egone 40yrs of, No. 14 Ogaga Street, Warri; Osayande Ogie 27yrs, of No. 130 Upper Sakpomba Road, Benin City; Braimoh Innocent 24yrs, of No. 130 Upper Sakpomba Road, Benin City

VICTIM:    Rosa Egokawhere ‘f’ 39yr, of Airport Road Sapele/Warri Road

 

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 02/06/2017, at about 0955hrs, one Okolosi Silas Oghenerume was driving his boss’ wife, one Mrs. Rose Egokawhere to church when three boys armed with pump action and AK47 rifles suddenly attacked them along Basketball Court road, near water resources, Warri, in their black Honda civic car. They pushed him out of the vehicle at gun point and kidnapped Mrs. Rose Egokawhere to unknown destination.

 Based on intelligence, on 12/07/2017, operatives arrested the following suspects Bright Osaze Pius, Matthew Orobote aka “chop and chop”, Godwin Lucky ‘m’ Godwin Ohwoesiri who confessed to the crime and admitted belonging to the kidnapping gang of one Lucky Unumeri aka “General” and Charles Ighomuaye aka “Awilo”.

Further intelligence led to the arrest of Ejioke Kelly Omoise, Edo kingsley, Remember Ikoro, Ese Egone ‘m’ Osayande Ogie and Braimoh Innocent on 16/07/2017 who also confessed playing different roles in the crime.

 Investigation is ongoing for possible arrest of their current gang leaders one Omovigho Boblin, David (surname unknown) and Henry Ohwojero now at large.

NATURE OF CASE: ARMED ROBBERY AND ATTEMPTED KIDNAP

SUSPECTS: Ibrahim Damola 30yrs, of No. 42 Arthur Richard Str. Asaba; Sgt Daniel John 39yrs of 301 Battalion; Gombe State

VICTIM: Mrs. Nneka Okafor 54yrs, of Ngozi Onyeobi Street, Asaba.   

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 01/06/2017, at about 1930hrs, five armed men attacked a business premises owned by one Mrs. Nneka Okafor at Jesus saves road, Asaba, and robbed her and a customer of their phones and valuables.

She was subsequently abducted into her Rav 4 jeep with reg. No. ASB 112 AE and were forced to abandon the lady due to police pressure. Acting on available intelligence, on 15/06/2017 one of the suspects Ibrahim Damola ‘m’ was arrested.

He made a useful statement and confessed one John Daniel, a sergeant in the Nigerian Army, attached to 301 Battalion, Gombe state, to be in possession of the victim’s vehicle.

Consequent upon the confession, the suspect was tracked and arrested at Gombe state with the victim’s car. Investigation is in progress.         

NATURE OF CASE:  KIDNAPPING

SUSPECTS: Yusuf Umar, 56yrs, of Bolori, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State; Ohwojero Daniel, 23yrs, of No. 6 Ogbenifere; Father Illy, Warri;

VICTIM: Mrs. Mofe Olomi, 55yrs, of Ububa closes, Effurun  

FACTS OF THE CASE: On the 23/06/2017 at about 1050hrs, one Mofe Olomi was kidnapped by a notorious kidnapping gang alongside her Hyundai Jeep to unknown destination.

Having kept the victim hostage in their hideout, one Umar Yusuf of Takojo village in port-Harcourt, was arrested with the victim’s vehicle as he was escaping to Benin.

The second suspect, Ohwojero Daniel, whose bank account was used to demand/payment of ransom, was arrested on 12/07/2017 along Ugborikoko road, by SAKCCS operatives.

NATURE OF CASE: CONSPIRACY AND KIDNAPPING

SUSPECT: Sa’adu Gajawa, 38yrs, of Behind Airport, Asaba

VICTIM: Mrs. Lucy Ikediashi, of Justice Bosimo Crescent, Asaba

FACTS OF THE CASE: The suspect, Sa’adu Gajawa, a native of Jalingo in Taraba state belongs to a kidnapping gang headed by one Salihu Tola, a dismissed soldier’s syndicate which specializes in kidnapping female victims within Asaba metropolis.

Suspect was involved in the kidnap of the victim on 17/04/2017 and had since been on the run. He was trailed and arrested on 29/06/2017 and he confessed to the crime.

NATURE OF CASE: CONSPIRACY, ARMED ROBBERY, KIDNAPPING/- MURDER

SUSPECTS: Henry Oyem aka “Timaya” 29yrs, of Umuachiogor-Afor, Kwale; Musa Umaru aka “Timaya” 35yrs, of Behind Airport, Asaba 

FACTS OF THE CASE: Acting on the available intelligence at the command’s disposal, the suspects Henry Oyem “TIMAYA” and Musa Umaru “TIMAYA” were arrested on 26/06/2017 and 06/07/2017 respectively.

They were arrested for their complicity in most kidnap/herdsmen killings within kwale /Ogume and their environs. Suspects confessed to the crimes, indicting one Ibrahim Musa aka “OYIBO” now deceased as their gang leader.

Suspects claimed responsibility of herdsmen killing that occurred some years ago at Ogume community where about ten (10) persons were killed. Investigation is ongoing.

NATURE OF CASE: HOSTAGE TAKEN

SUSPECTS:   Greg Emordi, 29yrs, of No. 177 Housing Estate, Asaba; Oboho Ekana, 25yrs, of No. 177 Housing Estate, Asaba; Onori Majiroghene, 28yrs,  of No. 70 b Housing Estate, Asaba; Akoshili Alex, 38yrs, of No. 177 Housing Estate, Asaba.      

VICTIM:   Ohworido Friday, 22yrs, of Marble Hill, Okpanam Road, Asaba

 

EXHIBITS: Two sachets of tramadol medicine, four wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, four different phones, one Ipad and seven laptops

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 15/07/2017, at about 1535hrs, Greg Emordi, Oboho Ekana, Onori Majiroghene and Akoshili Alex, all  of Asaba Housing Estate, abducted  one Owhorido Friday ‘m’ and kept him hostage.

While the victim was in hostage, an informant reported the case. Prompt intervention of the investigating team led to the rescue of the victim while the suspects were arrested.

Items recovered includes two sachets of tramadol medicine, four wraps of weeds  suspected to be Indian hemp, four different phones, one IPAD and seven laptops. Investigation is in progress.

 NATURE OF CASE: SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS

SUSPECTS:  Ogor Ogheneryemu, 20yrs, of Oviri Ogor town; Ighodieye Ogherugba, 27yrs, of No. Oviri Ogor, town

VICTIM:    Mrs. Okoro Eseoghene 45yrs, of Effurun town

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 23/07/2017, at about 0930hrs, a synergy operation  carried out by men of Eagle net squad in conjunction with the vigilante group Ughelli, yielded result as two male suspects who have been at large one Ogor Ogheneryemu and Ighodieye Ogherugba  were arrested.

Suspects confessed to have complicity in the kidnap of Mrs. Okoro Eseoghene and Precious Gold kidnapped on 12/06/2017 and released on 13/06/2017, the suspects also confessed to have remove handcuff from their leader one David SNU who escaped with police handcuff from Eagle net team. Investigation is ongoing.

NATURE OF CASE: SUSPECTED KIDNAPPERS

SUSPECTS: Tahiru Sule, 29yrs, of back of Airport, Asaba; Abu Sanni, 25yrs, of Obodougba Community, Kwale.

FACTS OF THE CASE: Two male suspects one Tahiru Sule ‘m’ 25yrs of behind Asaba Airport and Abu Sanni 20yrs of Obodougba community kwale were arrested on 23/07/2017 at about 1700hrs, along Umuoji/Ossissa axis by men of kwale division and the following items recovered.

Five wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp, one packet of rizla, one Tramadol medicine, one wrist watch, ten naira, two tecno phones with numbers 08128496571 and 08133236616 was recovered from them.  Suspects were confirmed by other Fulani herdsmen to be among the herdsmen terrorizing Kwale/Ogume and Umuoji community. Investigation has commenced.

 ARMED ROBBERY

NATURE OF THE CASE:  ARREST OF SUSPECTS AND RECOVERY OF ARMS

SUSPECTS: Henry Omowhara, age 33yrs, of General Hospital, Agbarho; Stanley Anthony, age 24yrs, of back of Osiwel Hotel, Agbarho; Caro Jesse, age 30yrs,of No. 1 Imonidafe Street, Agbarho.

EXHIBITS: one locally made cut-to-size gun, one locally made pistol, two live cartridges, one dagger                                    

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 26/6/2017, at about 0604hrs, the men of 3 Battalion (Rear) of Nigerian Army, Effurun and the SARS personnel based in Warri received information that some armed-men were robbing innocent people of their belongings in Warri/Agbarho.

 On the strength of this information, the combined team of the military and SARS swung into action and arrested the three suspects mentioned above.

During interrogation, they confessed that they are a three-man gang which specializes in robbing innocent people of vehicles with their tricycle and mentioned the third suspect as the man who keeps their arms.

The men immediately went with the suspect to his house were they recovered one locally made pistol, one locally made cut-to-size gun, two live cartridges and a dagger. Investigation is in progress.

NATURE OF THE CASE: ARREST OF ARMED ROBBERS  

SUSPECTS: Ogheneovo Idah, age 30yrs, of Mechanic Village, Warri; Peter Fredrick, age 25yrs, of Mechanic Village, Warri

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 29/6/2017, at about 1000hrs, based on information received about the two suspects, the men of SARS swung into action and arrested the above named suspects at Mechanic village, Warri and during interrogation, they confessed that they and one other now at large robbed one Kemenanabode Kenny of his properties, sometime in the month of May, 2017. The duos have made useful statement to SARS Detectives.

NATURE OF THE CASE:

 HIJACK OF A TRUCK LOADED WITH PMS PRODUCT

 

VICTIM:  Ifeanyi Okeke ‘m’, 35yrs of Umuosime Village, Nkpor, Anambra State

SUSPECTS: Kingsley Ochei, age 37yrs; Ndubuisi Okolie, age 29yrs, both of Ekuoma Community in Ika North East L.G.A of Delta State; F/No. 413318 Sgt Nwankem Ebonzim, age 37yrs, attached to New Owerri Division Imo State Command; Prince Innocent Obaseki, age 45yrs, of No. 79, Okpe quarters, Abavo;  F/No. 441254 Sgt. Micheal Chima attached to 31 PMF, Ogwashi- Uku; F/No. 375631 Sgt. Christopher Onyegho attached to Special Protection Unit, base 5 Benin City Edo, State.

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 21/6/2017, at about 2100hrs, the victim loaded PMS product in his truck with Reg. No. 960 Delta from Oghara, and was heading to Onitsha in Anambra State.

On getting to the boundary between Edo/Delta by Alifikede/Agbor expressway, the victim was stopped by the above armed men who pretended to be men of Anti-Vandal team.

They hijacked the truck, handcuffed the victim and his conductor, pushed and abandoned them in the bush and took the truck with the product to Abavo community in Ika South L.G.A of Delta State, sold the product to one Prince Innocent Obaseki, the fourth suspect and later abandoned the hijacked truck along Ute-Okpu road in Ika North East L.G.A of Delta State.

Fortunately, the phone of the Kingpin of the gang named Kingsley Ochei, a dismissed Police Officer was recovered at the scene. SARS men immediately swung into action and arrested the above named kingpin Kingsley Ochei.

He confessed and mentioned other five suspects listed above and subsequently they were equally arrested. The serving policemen will be internally disciplined, dismissed and subsequently prosecuted.

NATURE OF THE CASE:

ARREST OF SUSPECTS AND RECOVERY OF ARMS

VICTIM: Udugba Helen ‘f’, 43yrs, of Ugborikoko Village, Warri

SUSPECTS: Ejiro Ukumakpeyi ‘m’, 28yrs, of No. 22 Oromaro Street, Effurun; Ufuoma Moses ‘m’, 22yrs, of No. 13 Alegbo Street, Effurun

FACTS OF THE CASE:  On 12/7/2017, at about 1130hrs, one Mrs. Udugba Helen in company of one Mrs. Yovi P.E while driving a blue Toyota Corolla with Reg. No. EFR 81 DC along Loucust Estate, Ughelli, and the two armed robbers attacked them and dispossessed them of the vehicle and other valuable items at gun-point.

The suspects were intercepted with the vehicle at Sapele/Benin road by security operatives and subsequently arrested and transferred to SARS for discreet investigation. The two suspects confessed to the crime.

NATURE OF THE CASE:

ARMED ROBBERY/RECOVERY OF TRICYCLE 

VICTIM:   John Ejaroba ‘m’, 54yrs, of No. 106 PTI road, Effurun

SUSPECT:   Oghenetega Iguweriede ‘m’, of Udumu-Okpe Quarters, Ugolo community, Okpe L.G.A of Delta State                                       

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 5/7/2017, at about 2015hrs, the victim, one John Ejavoba ‘m’ was riding his tricycle with Reg. No. USL 491 RF along Jakpa road,

Effurun when he carried three passengers in his tricycle going to Airport road, Warri unknown to him that they were armed robbers. On his way, along the Airport road,

Effurun the three passengers turned out to be armed robbers. For fear of being harmed he relinquished the keys and they rode the tricycle to an unknown destination. On 9/7/2017, one of the suspects was seen with the robbed tricycle, which had already been repainted to another colour.

 He was arrested and taken to Ekpan Division but later transfered to SARS’ office for discreet investigation. During investigation, he confessed to belong to a three-man gang that robbed the victim of the tricycle. Investigation is in progress.

 NATURE OF THE CASE: ARREST OF SUSPECTS AND RECOVERY OF AK 47 RIFLE AMMUNITION

SUSPECTS: Isaiah Ikunle Adolor ‘m’, 30yrs of Oromaro Str., Effurun; Okey Omowakpor ‘m’, 20yrs; Elo Emmanuel ‘m’, 20yrs, all of Effurun

EXHIBITS: Eighty-one (81) rounds of AK47 live ammunition and two Magazines

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 1/7/2017, at about 1145hrs, while on stop and search, the men of Quick Response Squad, Warri, arrested one Elo Emmanuel ‘m’ and Okey Omowakpor ‘m’ with a laptop. When they were questioned, they could not give satisfactory account of how they came about the laptop.

They were arrested and handed over to Operatives of State Intelligence Bureau (SIB), Asaba, who further interrogated the suspects. They confessed that one Isaiah Ikunle Adolor has AK47 rifle, concealed in the ceiling of his family house at Effurun.

The Operatives swung into action, arrested him, searched his house and recovered the afore-listed exhibits. Investigation is in progress.

CULTISM

NATURE OF THE CASE: ARRES OF SUSPECTED CULTISTS

SUSPECTS: Ugegbe Eugine, age 30yrs; Ikogwe Prince age 25yrs; Otuniya Azubike, age 30yrs, All residing in Nenesco Gashi Mishack age 22yrs Kwale; Azumefa Richard age 26yrs; Apinegor Clement, age 26yrs.

FACTS OF THE CASE: On the 14/07/2017, at about 0700hrs, information was received from a reliable source that some group of youths suspected to be cultists in Kwale were about to disturb the peace. Base on the information, detectives led by DSP Adie Bissong led a team to Kwale and arrested the above suspects in connection with the alleged offence for investigation.

 NATURE OF THE CASE: CASE OF SUSPECTED CULTISM.

SUSPECTS: Isaiah Onos age 16yrs; Adeduo karo age 15 yrs; Oviri Samson age 14yrs; Igho Godwell age 19yrs, all residing at 0tu-jeremi; Blessing Lucky age 21yrs; Oghenevwede Solomon age 18yrs; Clement Ebedegbe age 20yrs; Edion Gideon age 17yrs; Ovic Isaac age 18yrs.

EXHIBIT(S) RECOVERED: Three cutlasses and one digger

FACTS OF THE CASE: The fact of the case is that on 10/17/2017 at about 1130hrs, one Inudu Johnson ‘M’ of Ewu community, Ughelli South Local Government.

The Vice Chairman of the Vigilante reported at the station that on the same date at about 0200hrs while on patrol they received information about cultists clash in the community.

 That they promptly responded to the distress call and arrested the above suspects in connection with the alleged offence and handed over to the Police for investigation.

NATURE OF THE CASE: ARREST OF SUSPECTED CULTISTS.

SUSPECTS: Akpoye John ‘m’, age 20yrs; TuwereIgbinake ‘m’, age 22yrs; Joseph Apuma ‘m’, age 23yrs; Sunday Ogbegwa ‘m’, Age 25yrs; Tive Abele ‘m’ age 24yrs; Ifeanyi Anuka ‘m’ age 22yrs.

VICTIM: Lucky Victor, leader Sapele vigilante Zone 3.

FACTS OF THE CASE: The complainant stated that he received information, that one Akpoye John a suspected cultist whom he has been looking for, was in his house resting.

 He then proceed to the suspects house, with his team met and interrogated him.

He admitted membership of Sparrow and mentioned other members to include Tuwere Igbinake.

In a similar development, the complainant arrested one Ifeanyi Anauka of 20 Boyo Street Sapele who also admitted membership of Vikings while Joseph apuma of No18 Macphoton road Sapele confessed membership of Eiye confraternity.

Two others Sunday Ogbegwa and Tive Abele arrested along with them denied membership of any cult group. Case is under  investigation.

 MURDER

NATURE OF THE CASE:  MURDER/ATTEMPTED MURDER

SUSPECT: Chukwuma Eke age 35yrs of Aboh, Ndokwa East L.G.A., Delta State

VICTIMS: Helen Eunice Okeye aged 45yrs (Late),  Ogonna Itabor age 12yrs of Aboh town. 

FACTS OF THE CASE: On 08/06/2017, at about 2000hrs, one Helen Eunice Okeye ‘f’ and her daughter, Ogonna Itabor ‘f’ went to the back of Aboh Secondary School, Aboh to search for snails for sale. On getting there, they saw one Chukwuma Eke a.k.a. Igboba stealing plantains in their plantation.

The deceased confronted the suspect and told him that she was going to the town to inform the Community.

 The deceased was about to leave when the suspect gave her multiple machete cuts on her body.
