In compliance to the training schedules lined up for recruits of 76 regular recruits’ intake, Depot Nigerian Army on Saturday October 28, 2017 conducted inter-company Obstacle Crossing Competition
The Exercise which was designed to build Endurance, physical fitness comradeship and co-operation among the participants saw the ten (10) training companies keenly contesting for the event.
In his address, the Special Guest at the competition, Brigadier General Muktar Bunza expressed satisfaction to the level of fitness and endurance demonstrated by the participants.
He said, “The level of proficiency displayed by the participants would be a guide and will build your confidence throughout your carrier.

Brig-General Bunza added that the performance of the recruits also proved their readiness to protect the territorial integrity of the nation.
At the end of the event, Delta Training Company emerged the best company and was presented with the winner’s trophy while Alfa Company became the last company in order of merit.
While presenting the trophy to Delta Company for their Zeal and commitment he urged other companies not to relent in their efforts as there was room for improvement.
