Easter: Kogi CP, Egbuka conducts Patrols to assess deployments of officers, assures public of peaceful/crime free celebration

Towards ensuring a crime free Easter celebration’s in Kogi State, the Commissioner of Police of the State Command, CP Edward .C Egbuka on Saturday 16/4/2022 conducted aed a confidence boosting and visibility patrol along major highways across the state.
He personally led senior officers for an intensive patrol to assess the deployment of personnel and operational assets and to reassure the public of the Command’s determination to provide a peaceful and crime-free environment for all.
 
CP Egbuka further stated that, he embarked on the patrol to assess the level of compliance on the directives given to the Divisional Police Officers and their supervising Area Commanders to take charge of their areas of responsibility. 
A statement by SP William Ovye Aya, Public Relations Officer said the CP charged the officers and men to redouble their efforts and contain any criminal elements who might want to take advantage of the festive period to perpetrate their evil acts.
 
The CP Commissioner of Police further reiterated his commitment to work in synergy with other security Commanders to provide adequate security for all in Kogi State.
