The Commissioner of Police Akwa Ibom State Command, CP Zubairu Muazu has assured members of the public in the state of their safety and protection before, during and after the EID-EL-KABIR Celebration.
Towards this end, the CP said adequate security measures have been put in place to ensure hitch-free celebration of occasion.

A statement by the Command said, “Consequently, the Police and other security agencies have put adequate security measures in place to protect all law abiding citizens in the state.
“All criminally minded persons, miscreants and hoodlums are warned to have a re-think of their actions any attempt by persons or group to disrupt the peace in the state will be viewed seriously and per-perpetrators made to face the full wrath of the law.
