The Police in Borno State say, there will be restriction of vehicular movements on Friday, being Sallah.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Victor Isuku explained that the restriction will remain in force till the end of Eid Prayers.
Restrictions will include the use of motor vehicles, tricycles, bicycles and animals, except those on essential duties.

The police also advised Muslim faithful’s to pray at Eid grounds nearest to them, and ensure they go early for security screening.
Parents who go with their kids are also asked to look after them, to avoid incidents of missing children.
The police statement further warned that anyone caught with knives or other dangerous weapons at prayer grounds, or recreational areas, will be prosecuted.
“Borno State Commissioner of Police, Damian Chukwu assures the people of the force’s commitment, to ensure a crime free Sallah celebration” the statement said.
