Former Director, in the Department of State Security DSS, Barrister Mike Ejiofor has emerged as the Acting President, Alumni Association of the Institute of Security Studies, Abuja.
Barr. Ejiofor, who before retirement served as the Director of DSS in several states including those in South-South, South-West, and North West, will serve as Acting President until February 2018 and has the task of repositioning the Alumni Association.

A statement by Mr. Denja Abdullahi, Chairman Electoral Committee of AAISS said, “The Alumni Association of the Institute of Security Studies (AAISS), Nigeria’s premier security institute at its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 25th February, 2017 at the Institute of Security Studies (ISS), Bwari, Abuja appointed Barr Mike L. Ejiofor, as Acting President of the Association.
“He is to run the affairs of the Association until the next AGM in February 2018.
“His appointment followed the expiration of the tenure of the immediate past executive.
“Ejiofor was given the mandate to revamp and reposition the association to contribute its quota in the security environment of the country and also prepare it for the challenges ahead.”
