Enhanced Synergy: FOC Central Naval Command visits Bayelsa Police Command HQ.

The Flag Officer Commanding Central Naval Command (FOC) Rear Admiral Bello Al-Hassan has commended the leadership of the Nigeria Police in Bayelsa State for the strong synergy existing with the Central Naval Command in areas of security of lives and property as well as protection of the nation’s economic and maritime assets.

 He saluted the strong working collaboration even as he pledged to improve upon the partnership for a better espirit de corps among both services.

The FOC spoke when he paid a familiarization visit to the Headquarters of Nigerian Police Force (NPA) in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State Command.

During a chat with CP Asuquo Amba the Commissioner of Police, Bayelsa State, the FOC categorically stated that from the available record in his office, he could deduce that the cooperation between the police and the Navy has been fruitful and very encouraging.

Rear Admiral Al-Hassan referred to a firefighting exercise which was organized by the Command in collaboration with some security outfits including the Nigeria Police (NPF), reiterating that the role played by operatives of NPF in the exercise was remarkable.

In his response to the FOC, the Commissioner of Police, Asuquo Amba used the occasion to re-state the commitment of NPF in Bayelsa State to consolidate its cooperation with the Navy in the area of security, sports and others.

The FOC was accompanied by principal staff officers of Naval Central Command during the visit.
