Enugu Police Command nab Kidnappers/Killers of Parish Priest of St. Mark Catholic Church, in Abuja.

Sequel to diligent investigation, which was supported with intelligence information, operatives of the Enugu Police Command have traced and arrested the killers of Reverend Father Clement Ugwu, of St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Obinofia Ndiuno, in Abuja, the federal capital city.
A statement by SP Ebere Amaraizu, Public Relations Officer of the Command said, “The Enugu State Police Command wishes to inform members of the public particularly the good people of the state that some of the suspected dreaded kidnappers who were connected with the kidnap and murder of one Reverend Father Clement Rupuluchukwu Ugwu, the parish priest of St, Mark’s Catholic Church, Obinofia Ndiuno in Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State have been arrested.
“Two of the suspects who gave their names as Sunday Chibuko, a native of Umunna Ndiagu in Ezeagu LGA of Enugu State, age 32 years, and Benjamin Osogwu, a native of Obollo Eke in Udeanu LGA of Enugu State, aged 28 years were arrested in their hideout in Area 1 Garki Abuja, on the 28th of March 2019 by operatives of Command working with intelligence information.
“The suspects are helping the Command with investigation with a view to arresting the remaining fleeing members of the gang.”
