Enugu police nab two over electric transformer vandalism,recover exhibits
The operatives of the Enugu State command of the Nigeria police force through intelligence information and partnership of the members of the public on 23/6/19 in the early hours of the morning nabbed two suspected notorious electric transformer vandals identified as one Jude Chibuoke and Chigozie Egwuonwu over their alleged involvement in nefarious activities ranging from vandalization of electric transformer components.
Such components include transformer cable uprisers amongst others within Udi Enugu state and its environs and thereby plunging concerned communities into lack of power supply.

They were arrested along Umumba axis of Ezeagu Enugu state with the exhibits by the operatives as they were trying to make their way to Onitsha during their routine patrol and stop and search duties and based on credible intelligence gathered .
Further intelligence gathered revealed that suspect Jude Chibuoke is a notorious electric transformer vandal who specializes on targeting isolated community transformer without power supply and vandalizing their components and uprisers and taking same to his standby buyers just as Chigozie Egwuonwu assist and conveys him and exhibits with motorcycle.
The state commissioner of police Suleiman Balarabe has directed for a full scale investigations into the unfortunate incident with a view to unmasking more suspects involved in the alleged unwholesome act.
Suspects are now helping the operatives in their investigations.
