Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command acting on well gathered and coordinated intelligence information on Tuesday 19/3/19 nabbed three suspected kidnappers.
According to a statement by SP Ebere Amaraizu, Public Relations Officer of the command, the suspects allegedly kidnapped their victim on Saturday 16/3/19 at about 05.30 am with an unregistered tricycle otherwise known as keke at Umueze Awkunanaw axis of Agbani local government Area of Nkanu west Local Government Area of Enugu state.
The arrest of suspects was triggered when the hideout at Umueze Agbani was raided by the operatives based on intelligence information; during which the victim identified as one Chime Edeh was rescued unharmed.
The PPRO said the suspects are helping the operatives in their investigations in relation to their nefarious activities just as a full scale investigations have commenced into the incident.
